I recently purchased a vehicle from up North in Michigan. The battery is now dead and needs to be replaced.

When I tried to inquire about a warranty since the battery has a date of 1/18 on it, I was told that the shop that put the battery in needs to follow up with a new battery. Since I just purchased the vehicle, I have no idea about what shop put it in and it would take hours to get there if I did know. This is very inconvenient because the battery is fairly new and should have lasted for longer then 9 months regardless of who purchased it. Also, I now have a vehicle I just bought from a private owner and I can't drive it because the battery is dead.

I need your help in solving this issue. Thanks for your time and consideration in this matter.
